HIT Safety Solutions Ltd. is a 100% veteran-owned safety consulting and SSHO company based in Ohio.
Founder, Edward Hartshorn, served for over 12 years in the U.S. Navy Seabees, including roles as a Naval and Battalion Safety Officer on major construction projects across the United States, Europe, and Africa. He has also held positions as a Safety Manager on multiple large industrial projects in the private sector.
Some of these project sites have included one of the largest cranes in North America at the time, and he has successfully planned and executed heavy-lift helicopter operations for the removal and installation of dust systems. Today, HIT Safety Solutions focuses on
EM 385-1-1 and OSHA compliance for federal, industrial, and large commercial projects. We understand how to work safely around cranes, heavy equipment, steel erection, demolition, utilities, and complex multi-contractor environments.
